Leah Renée Dance
BBO AFFILIATE MEMBER & B.A (Music Theatre)
Leah studied Classical ballet (RAD) Jazz, Contemporary, Tap and Music Theatre at the Anita Coutts School of Dance, where she trained for 16 years. She completed several classical RAD examinations, receiving distinctions for all. Leah has training in both vocal and acting, finding her passion for singing at a young age.
After attending Ballarat Clarendon College, Leah studied full time Music Theatre in Melbourne for two years. This saw Leah compete in many competitions, both in dance and singing. During her studies Leah performed leading roles such as Hope (Anything Goes) and Roxie (Chicago) with Ballarat Light Opera Company. Leah was honoured to receive commendations and nominations by the ‘Music Theatre Guild of Victoria’ for her work.
Leah decided to further her studies and complete a Bachelor of Arts (Music Theatre), a three-year full-time degree with Federation University. Her studies included: classical ballet, jazz, tap, acting, singing, and much more. Whilst studying at university Leah performed in many shows, her credits include: ‘Show train” a new Australian Musical (Izzy), ‘Bye Bye Birdie’ (Nancy), ‘Rent’ (Featured dancer), ‘Dance is life’ – (A Personal Devised Cabaret Performance) and ‘Sweeny Todd’ (Johanna).
Leah has been teaching now for 10 years and has truly found her passion in direction. It was her honour leading the Anita Coutts School of Dance, in its final year, 2021. In the last 10 years she has been guided by her mother, Anita Coutts-Delaland, including their co-direction in 2020. Leah is proud to be the Founder, Principal and Artistic Director of the Versatility Dance College and is proud to also continue the legacy that her mother took 34 years creating.
Leah will continue to guide Versatility Dance College and its students in a supportive and caring way and looks forward to creating more versatile dancers of the future.
COLLEGE FEES
All fees are set per class per term and are GST inclusive.
Invoices are sent 14 days prior to the commencement of each term and are payable within 14 days.
Discounts
6 Age Appropriate Classes for only $880!
10% Discount for families with multiple children!
Administration Fees
$15 per family, per term. This fee covers administration fees, licensing fees and accident insurance.
Performance Levy
$20 per student, per term. This fee covers music licensing and associated theatre costs for the end of year dress rehearsal & performance.
Performance Costume Levy
A costume levy will be charged in term 4. This will be dependent on the amount of costumes & headdresses used per child, during the dress rehearsal and performance.
Payment Methods
Bank Transfer: Full payment is due within 14 days of receiving invoice.
Cash: This can be deposited in an envelope, via the fees box in the VDC Complex. Please note the child's name and the invoice number on the envelope.
Instalments: VDC accepts instalments upon written request, prior to the school year.
