Mummy & Me Ballet (1 - 3 yrs)List Item 1
This class is structured around our youngest students. It is very interactive and not only will foster their love of dance but teach fine motor skills in the process. Parents are more than welcome to join in or sit back and watch their child blossom in a fun and caring environment.

Pre-Primary Ballet (2 & 3 yrs)List Item 2
Incorporating dress ups and bright bubbly music, this class is a favourite for any budding ballerina. This class aids a perfect start to any dance journey and offers a special environment to make friends for life. Fun, laughter and magic are three words to describe what your child will experience in this class.

Primary Ballet (4 yrs)List Item 3
Our Primary classical ballet class bridges the transition to main streamballet. Mixed with the favourites of the pre-primary ballet class and all the new and exciting techniques of "big girl ballet". This class offers the perfect environment for kinder aged students.

Theatrical (2 - 4 & 5 - 6 yrs)List Item 4
Singing, dancing, tapping and acting what more could a tiny dancer want! This class is high energy and lots of fun. This class teaches students timing and rhythm all in an upbeat and fun way. Learning multiple styles in one class is stimulating for little inquisitive minds and will send them home with lots to practise.

Dance Play (Preschool)
A parent & child class where children are given the opportunity to
explore dance through play based songs and activities at a self
lead pace with low pressure. A gentle introduction to dance classes,
listening skills and following instructions all done in a fun and
supportive environment

Flip, Dance, Sing - Calisthenics (2 - 4 yrs)
This class introduces children to the fundamentals of
calisthenics in a fun and encouraging setting. Students develop
coordination and confidence through activities that promote
teamwork and creativity. The Tots program aims to nurture an
early interest in dancing, singing & acrobatics to help each
child find their niche.

Classical BalletList Item 1
Classical ballet is the base of all dance and we are committed to offering our students the best training possible. Classical open classes stimulate the students minds in a fast paced and informative class. Open classes are fun and engaging as your learn new steps weekly.These classes are perfect for students wanting to focus on classical ballet without the want for an examination.

Examination Ballet (twice a week)List Item 2
This year the Versatility Dance College will host three major classical ballet syllabus: Royal Academy of Dance (RAD), Cecchetti & British Ballet Organisation (BBO). There will be examination opportunities from Grade 1 through to Advanced 2. Classical examinations are something for students to work towards whilst honing many new skills. Examinations will be offered to students who are readyand capable this will be determined by our VDC heads of RAD, Cecchetti & BBO.

Contemporary & LyricalList Item 3
Contemporary dance is a style of expressive dance that combines elements of several dance genres including modern, jazz, lyrical and classical ballet. Contemporary dance stresses versatility and improvisation, unlike the strict, structured nature of ballet. Contemporary dancers focus on floor work, using gravity to pull them down to the floor.

Stretch & Strengthen / Progressive Ballet TechniqueList Item 4
As you can tell by the name this class incorporates many supportive elements to condition the students bodies. This class is a compliment to the students ballet classes offering stretching, strengthening and mind / body focus to ensure the students are in-tune with their body and also teaching them how to look after it. This is a class specialised to VDC and something we believe will assist in the health and longevity of our dancers.

Classical Extension Program (audition only)
We are thrilled to announce that in 2022 VDC will offer Junior, Intermediate & Senior Classical Extension Programs. The CEP program has been running for over 10 years with multiple students being accepted into some of the worlds most prestigious dance programs. This class is a specialised training program for gifted students wanting to pursue a career in dance. JazzList Item 1
At VDC we offer technical jazz classes that leave the students feeling accomplished and determined. This class is based on the technical aspects of jazz dance: kicks, turns and jumps. We incorporate learning of the basis of jazz in an upbeat and fun environment.

Hip Hop
This class is a favourite for our students who love to dance and feel free. There is no technique required for this class, just passion and determination. The uniform is relaxed and individual and the class is always up beat and exciting. Students learn new moves every week, all in a supportive and friendly environment .

Acrobatics / Gymnastics
At VDC we not only offer acrobatics & gymnastics classes we also offer private lessons. In both the classes and lessons, students learn new tricks weekly. This class also offers strength and conditioning, incorporating fitness and flexibility training. From the beginner to the advanced we have something for everyone and with our professional studio size gym mat, safety is our upmost priority.

TapList Item 4
Tap is a rhythmical form of dance that is combines sounds made by the toes and heels as a form of percussion. This class covers rhythm, timing and tap technique training in a fun and supportive environment. Tap is a great class for all dancers with many benefits including musicality, timing, focus and coordination.

Calisthenics - Flip, Dance, Sing!
Versatility Dance College’s Tinies program helps young performers build confidence, explore movement, and discover the joy of performing. Classes blend dance, singing, acting, apparatus, acro, gymnastics, and creative movement in a nurturing, fun environment.
Classes focus on developing strong foundational technique while fostering teamwork, resilience, and a genuine love for performance. Students will learn routines in Freearm, Rods, Aesthetics, and Song & Dance, with opportunities to shine in our Mid-Year Performance and End of Year Recital.

Music TheatreList Item 3
Learn to be a true triple threat in a class that fosters its students love of dancing, acting and singing. This class includes acting games, scene work, dance and vocal technique. The students will have the opportunity to learn various styles of theatre and being a performance based class they will also perform them. This is the perfect class for the student who wants to do it all and for students wanting a career in theatre or just there to have fun.
